Program

The audio in games world is vast. Our guest speakers will take us on a journey of sound in games. Having a mutual passion but very different work-life paths and experience, we will learn from them what makes sound in games a special workspace, what are the main challenges of working in a game environment, their workflows, creative processes and they will tell us stories of past experiences working with games, from an audio expert view to an audio crowd.

Having worked as an audio director, producer & mixer in the games industry since 2001, Rob is a committed advocate for sound in interactive media and is the author of four books, the most recent of which 'Leading with Sound' (2021) is published by Routledge/Focal Press. Rob is currently manager of external sound at PlayStation.
