Danish Sound Cluster has started a "Talent Attraction" project in 2023, so that people in general - and talents in particular - get a better knowledge of the Danish sound ecosystem and the many opportunities for studies and jobs. The aim of the project is to:

• Increase the number of new students for the studies in sound/acoustics at the educational institutions.
• Increase the number of new talents to vacant positions in the sound industry.

Why Advisory Board "Talent Attraction"?

A branding campaign of an entire sector is of course only possible with a joint effort. To define the activities, we have set up an Advisory Board consisting of selected industry members and external partners, who must help define and prioritize the joint efforts going forward.

After the Kickoff meeting on 22 June, it was agreed that the board must meet physically with more time to discuss the joint initiative. At the meeting on 5 September, we will be visited by Copenhagen Capacity, which has years of experience attracting talent for selected sectors throughout Denmark.

The target group

The Advisory Board is composed of key people from the audio industry through direct invitation. However, there are also open positions for those we may have overlooked: If you work with Employer Branding, talent attraction and recruitment - we would very much like to hear from you!

1. Good day and welcome – background, success criteria and the quick presentation round.
2. Experiences from Copenhagen Capacity in relation to international attraction v/ Maria Sverka, Charlotte Brault and Dan Rosenberg
3. Short intro to Copenhagen Capacity's way of working with attracting talent, including the process for building a brand with examples from those we have previously developed
4. Intro to the existing "State of Denmark" brand and what already exists - the basic narrative is in place
5. Recommendations for positioning Denmark as a sound mecca for attracting international talent.
6. Brainstorm #1 - "The common history of Danish sound" - exercise after a short intro from the Danish Sound Cluster
7. Short break with coffee and cake
8. Knowledge sharing - "The good case"
9. Brainstorm #2 – “Concrete actions, including funding and prioritization”
