Sound is one of Denmark's strongest technology areas, which contributes to the quality of life for people all over the world:

• The Danish audio industry is made up of six hundred companies where sound is the primary or essential part of the strategic focus. The industry employs 52.000 employees, has a turnover of DKK 70 billion annually and exports more than DKK 60 billion, corresponding to 4% of total Danish exports. • This industry is the result of strong research and education over decades at Danish universities. The Danish ecosystem for sound technology is in the top 4 among Danish technology sectors, scores above the average number of patents internationally (see ATV's analysis), and has a portfolio of more than 60 higher education programs related to "sound" in Denmark (see list here)

But do the talents know?

Despite this, the sector is not known in the wider community, nationally and internationally. With the increased competition for the best talents and the demand for continued innovation, it is crucial to create a more coordinated branding of the ecosystem, so that people in general - and talents in particular - get a better knowledge of the Danish sound ecosystem and the many opportunities for studies and jobs.

A branding campaign of an entire sector is of course only possible with a joint effort. Danish Sound Cluster has therefore started a "Talent Attraction" network in 2023 together with companies in the sound industry and external partners with the aim of:

• Increase the number of students in sound/acoustics at the educational institutions.
• Increase the number of new talents to vacant positions in the sound industry.

More than 20 companies and organizations are represented in the network (see below) and together we plan joint talent attraction campaigns. Of course, companies are also in competition to attract talent, but with joint efforts we can make the "pie bigger" - before we share it.

Entry fee

DKK 0 for participants from member companies of the Danish Sound Cluster - it is possible to be a guest at a single network meeting.
