With the aim to develop the connectivity framework for the O-Kube speaker system, the collaboration will harvest: 

 

  • The bigger picture of needs and opportunities on a system level: 
    • Connectivity to TVs now and future outlook. 
    • Connectivity to streaming devices 
  • Interconnectivity between speakers. 
  • Pro and cons for the different wired and wireless solutions 
  • 1st and 2nd gen solutions on same hardware 
  • Speaker interconnection for sound in 2 channels input. 
  • Ref on low latency for TV-systems. 

The speaker consists of six audio drivers in separate casing, and the audio processing will split a stereo input into segments and emit them separately. The segments re-compose into the original waveform as they travel through the acoustic space and reach the listener, but now with the proven quality enhancement this feature gives. The method affords the product design several user USPs that will be explored. 

The collaboration supports the companies’ innovation towards the world’s first true 360-degree audio system, reaching market maturity by Q3-Q4 2025.
