Project Title: LÆ – Acoustic partition
Description:
This collaboration focuses on developing and testing sustainable acoustic panels made from hempcrete in a real-world environment at Roskilde Festival’s Circular Lab. The goal is to create a temporary silent zone using our bio-based acoustic solutions, reducing noise pollution and improving user experience in high-noise environments.
The innovation potential lies in the combination of sustainable materials with acoustic efficiency, offering a CO₂-negative, circular alternative to conventional soundproofing solutions. By testing the panels in a dynamic festival setting, we can gather data on performance, durability, and user perception, which will help refine the product for broader applications.
We are collaborating with VibrAkustik, represented by Michael Trolle, a company specializing in measurement solutions for acoustics and vibration, material as well as audio tests. With their expertise in high-precision sound measurement instruments and deep technical knowledge, VibrAkustik will conduct acoustic performance tests on our panels, ensuring scientific validation of their effectiveness and a comprehensive demonstration of the effect of the HÆMP silent zone.
This partnership strengthens the project by combining our material innovation with acoustic measurement capabilities, allowing us to develop a market-ready and scientifically validated product.
Through this collaboration, we aim to push the boundaries of eco-friendly soundproofing solutions and contribute to a more sustainable approach to noise control in public spaces.
