Front of House and Backstage

In collaboration with Danish Sound Cluster, Roskilde Festival is offering a unique opportunity for members to participate in this day-long event of talks, discussions, stage tours conversations with professional colleagues and live music. Among highlights, you will get an exclusive tour around the iconic Orange Stage and a chance to ask all of your sound system questions to Meyer Sound Director Bob McCarthy.

  • 10:00 Arrival at Roskilde Handelsskole (Maglegårdsvej) at check-in
  • 10:30 Welcome by Roskilde Festival and Danish Sound Cluster
  • 11:00 Festival Culture: Music, art, activism, camping and freedom w/ Oliver Anton Lunow Nielsen 
 
  • 11:30 Lunch break in the volunteers’ cantine
 
  • 13:00 Sustainability and entrepreneurship w/ Andreas Groth Rasmussen
  • 13:30 Voluntarism: Organized and driven by volunteers w/ Bent Gringer
  • 14:00 Orange Stage tour w/ Bob McCarthy and Morten Büchert
  • 15:00-? Live music, merriment, and networking. Participants are welcome to stay until 1AM when the music stops

Lars Liliengren is the Head of Production at Roskilde Festival and has been leading the sound team for 10 years. He is also a guest lecturer in communication, dissemination and production at The Rhythmic Conservatory in Copenhagen.

Oliver Anton Lunow Nielsen, Debater and activist

Oliver Anton is educated in political communication and philosophy and works as atmosphere and content manager at Ungdommens Folkemøde.

Morten Büchert, Associate Prof. at RMC and Project Manager at Roskilde Festival Sound

Morten Büchert has been creating music and working with audio engineering since the age of 15. You’ll most likely find him working in the studio, doing livesound at a concert or teaching. As Associate Professor he teaches Music Production at the Rhythmic Conservatory in Copenhagen. In between teaching, producing and engineering, he works freelance for Danmarks Radio as Music Producer and Sound Engineer and he is an audio consultant for Roskilde Festival and has been for a number of Danish festivals.

Andreas Groth Clausen, Head of Partnerships at Roskilde Festival

Andreas has extensive experience in implementing brands in cultural institutions and increasing their relevance to their fanbase. Prior to joining Roskilde Festival, Andreas served as the main fundraiser at The Royal Danish Theatre. He specializes in making the value of sponsorships tangible and increasing the income earned by cultural institutions from the private sector.

With a background as a business researcher with a Ph.D. in competence development, I provide professional advice to government, private and voluntary organisations. I have 25 years of experience in competence development, learning environments and HR development.
