Join this network meeting at DTU and get more insights in this fine research institution that educates future talent for the sound industry and is involved in a lot of relevant projects. The day will give you valuable insights in DTU’s acoustic research, and you will also get the opportunity to explore how the lab facilities were built and what they are used for – including the anechoic chambers and building acoustics labs. In addition, we will hear about the learnings from the innovation project that unites acoustic engineers and architects “Architecture x Acoustics”.

“Architecture x Acoustics”, a joint project by Royal Danish Academy (Isak Worre Foged) and DTU (CHJ), was initiated and project background by Jens Nedergaard (DSC), Some discussion and opinion collection with Cheol-Ho Jeong  (DTU)

Lab tour at the Anechoic chamber and Building acoustics labs. 

  • How the labs were built, including surfaces and their specifications, by Sune Ellgaard, IAC acoustics. 
  • How are the labs used, Cheol-Ho Jeong and Rasmus Skov, FORCE Technology
