Audio Tech - Global Trends in Audio Technology

Project title:

Audio Tech. – Global Trends in Audio Technology

Description:

The Danish sound industry has a leading international market position due to a number of strong and innovative companies. In order to maintain and expand this position, the industry’s stakeholders need access to the latest knowledge about global technological developments and trends that will shape the sound industry in the coming years.

This project aims identify technological trends that will shape the future of the sound industry and provide new knowledge to DSC and its members. The project will serve as a data-based foundation for the DSC and its members to develop strategic plans for their innovation initiatives in the coming years. Furthermore, the project will serve as a preliminary analysis, strengthening the basis for future innovation projects within the cluster through the newly acquired knowledge.

Danish Technological Institute (DTI) will examine trends and developments relevant to the sound industry from various data sources and perspectives. We will:

  • Review existing research and literature.
  • Conduct a series of interviews with experts in the field.
  • Analyze innovation and development trends based on patent data.

The triangulation of these different data sources will provide both a broad and in-depth understanding of the direction in which the industry is moving and the implications for Danish enterprises in the sound industry.

Throughout the project, there will be close involvement of several enterprises, both at the beginning, end, and during the process.
