In the audio industry, vibration data collection can open a world of new business opportunities in machine understanding. By analyzing vibration data, companies can gain deeper insights into the condition and function of machines, leading to improved productivity, extended lifespan, and increased safety.

Target group:

Profiles from Danish small and medium-sized companies working within the fields of sound and vibration. You are interested in gaining knowledge and exploring how vibration data collection can be implemented in your own company for innovation of new concepts and procedures.

Please note that this workshop activity is part of a collaborative project (see details below).  Up to three persons from a participating company are welcome to join.

How can audio companies benefit from vibration data collection?

  • Machine condition monitoring: By analyzing vibration data, companies can identify early signs of faults and wear, enabling them to schedule maintenance proactively and avoid unexpected breakdowns. This can lead to significant savings in both time and money.
  • Improving productivity: By understanding how machines vibrate under different operating conditions, companies can optimize their settings and processes to improve efficiency. This can lead to increased production output and reduced costs.
  • Extending machine life: By monitoring machine condition, companies can identify and address problems before they lead to serious damage. This can lead to an extended lifespan for machines and reduced replacement costs.
  • Increased safety: By analyzing vibration data, companies can identify potential safety hazards and take steps to mitigate them. This can lead to a safer working environment and fewer accidents.

Program for workshop day at DAMRC June 12th

During this workshop experts from DAMRC will inspire and demonstrate their available technologies within vibrational data collection for improving productivity. DAMRC is a R&D center that has a focus area on reduction of vibrations within subtractive manufacturing technologies and induction of vibrations in materials for stress relieving.

There is great potential for audio companies that leverage vibration data collection to develop new products and services into new industry segments. By providing valuable insights and inspiration into the condition and function of DAMRCs world of vibrations, the aim for the workshop is for the participants to see technological opportunities with their technology and experience leading to business opportunities to be further explored by the competencies and experiences among the companies present.
