Partners for Live Sound Innovation

Roskilde Festival is inviting you to their creativity playground!

Roskilde Festival is offering this unique opportunity for potential partners within the sound and audio sectors to participate in this day-long event of talks, networking and perhaps even some sunshine, live music and a cold Tuborg. 

For this event we are inviting potential partners (from various organizations and research institutions) who want to experiment with new audio technologies, create weird sonic happenings or immersive performances. It could also be profiles working with related topics such as sustainability or inclusivity. Limited amount of seats!

Program

  • 10:00 – Arrival and check-in
  • 10: 15 – Welcome by Roskilde Festival and Danish Sound Cluster
  • 11:30 – Partner presentation from Andreas Groth Clausen, the festival’s Head of Partnerships. He will talk about how Roskilde Festival works with commercial partnerships to fundraise.
  • 12:30 – Lunch break in the volunteers’ cantine. 
  • 13:30 – Tour of the Circular Lab, where start-ups with a focus on circularity and sustainability are invited.
  • 14:30 – Tour of the stages, where participants will see the live sound setup and listen to some great music.
  • 16:00 – Time for music, merriment, and networking. Participants are welcome to stay until 1AM when the music stops.

What is the application process?

If you represent a company or research institution working with products, services, or research that can tap into the themes of live sound innovation, we encourage you to join us. We are looking for profiles who want to establish a collaboration between Roskilde Festival and their organization, regardless of their job function. Whether you are an engineer, innovation manager, founder, inventor, researcher, technician, or another profile, as long as you can see yourself in a role where you drive the partnership and shared innovation process, we welcome your application.

Lars Liliengren is the Head of Production at Roskilde Festival and has been leading the sound team for 10 years. He is also a guest lecturer in communication, dissemination and production at The Rhythmic Conservatory in Copenhagen.

Morten Büchert has been creating music and working with audio engineering since the age of 15. You’ll most likely find him working in the studio, doing livesound at a concert or teaching. As Associate Professor he teaches Music Production at the Rhythmic Conservatory in Copenhagen. In between teaching, producing and engineering, he works freelance for Danmarks Radio as Music Producer and Sound Engineer and he is an audio consultant for Roskilde Festival and has been for a number of Danish festivals. 

Morten Büchert, Project Manager, Roskilde Festival

Andreas Groth Clausen is the Head of Partnerships at Roskilde Festival, with extensive experience in implementing brands in cultural institutions and increasing their relevance to their fanbase. Prior to joining Roskilde Festival, Andreas served as the main fundraiser at The Royal Danish Theatre. He specializes in making the value of sponsorships tangible and increasing the income earned by cultural institutions from the private sector.

Innovationskraft
When you participate in this event, your time will be used as co-financing for the Innovation Power Project, which is funded by the Danish Business Promotion Board and the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science at a standard rate. Read more about Innovationskraft  HERE
